During my design process, exploring different ways to approach the package itself is something I have been very interested in. Rigid packaging is usually made with materials that is inherently difficult to open and throw out. That made me want to design a package used the product itself as the package.

Bento Essentials is an all-in-one kit that allows any person who is interested in Japanese Cuisine and Bento creation to get started with the most basic tools necessary. Bento Essentials comes with a pair of chopsticks, fork, hand towel, elasticband, and the box itself. These items allow a user to dive into Bento creation without prior experience necessary.
